Now that you know our history, are you ready to be part of our future?

Job Overview:

As a Senior Relationship Manager within the Strategic Relationships team, you will serve as Lord Abbett’s global lead for four of the firm’s most critical and influential financial partners: Citi, UBS Financial Services, J.P. Morgan, and Goldman Sachs. This highly strategic role requires a global mindset, the ability to navigate multinational organizational structures, and the skill to drive enterprise-wide alignment across multiple regions and business lines.

Reporting directly to the Partner, Head of Strategic Relationships, you will develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies that strengthen Lord Abbett’s positioning across global wealth, private banking, international advisory, and institutional channels. Success requires exceptional coordination with our global offices in Jersey City, Dublin, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong, ensuring a unified, globally consistent approach to these enterprise accounts.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Build and deepen senior-level relationships across platform research, product, private bank leadership, global distribution, and executive teams at Citi, UBS, J.P. Morgan, and Goldman Sachs.
  • Develop global engagement strategies that span U.S. wealth, international wealth, private banking, and institutional opportunities.
  • Coordinate activities across EMEA and APAC, ensuring alignment between regional priorities, global platform initiatives, and Lord Abbett’s commercial objectives.
  • Navigate complex multinational decision-making structures to secure platform access, product approvals, model inclusion, and strategic partnerships.
  • Serve as the global integrator for these relationships—centralizing communication, ensuring transparency, and driving accountability across internal stakeholders.
  • Translate regional and global platform insights into actionable commercial strategies that drive long-term growth.
  • Represent Lord Abbett at senior-level global meetings, conferences, and strategic forums with authority and credibility.
  • Provide senior leadership with forward-looking intelligence on competitive positioning, channel evolution, and global wealth management trends.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, Investments, and regional distribution leadership to ensure cohesive global messaging and execution.

You'll need to have:

  • 12–18 years of experience in asset management or strategic distribution with direct responsibility for global or enterprise-level relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the global wealth management and private banking landscape.
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and manage complex, multinational relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to engage senior leaders across regions and business units.
  • Experience coordinating across international teams, cultures, and time zones.
  • Strong strategic and commercial judgment, with the ability to balance long-term partnership development with near-term business outcomes.
  • Ability to synthesize global market intelligence and translate it into strategic recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced designation (CFA, CAIA, MBA) strongly preferred.
