The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Developer to join our data development team in collaboration with and supporting the data platforms team. This role requires both independent and collaborative work with business teams to translate complex business requirements into software designs and scalable data pipelines. You will be responsible for integrating internal data stores, systems, and SaaS data platforms, as well as designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions that drive critical business decisions.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and integrations across internal and external systems.
  • Work with relational databases, ensuring efficient query performance and data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based data solutions using pandas and other relevant libraries.
  • Implement and manage REST API integrations for data ingestion and exchange.
  • Ensure data solutions adhere to best practices in performance, security, and scalability.
  • Candidate must be willing to take full ownership of projects, covering discovery, analysis, technical design and implementation, testing, and deployment tasks.

You'll need to have:

  • Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
  • Expertise in SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS), particularly PostgreSQL, TSQL
  • Experience with Python data libraries such as pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience working in Finance industry
  • Hands-on experience integrating with REST APIs.
  • Hands on experience with Power BI
  • Experience with Git/GitHub.
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
  • Experience working with various cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Spark, and their associated tools.

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $150,000 - $165,000.   Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
