Job Overview:

 

We are looking for someone to join our Investment Platform Technology to focus on the front office platforms like Charles River, Portware by providing product support, workflows and working with PM, Traders, and other users for day-to-day operations. The role requires a financial industry background, Operational experience (buy-side asset management preferred) and technical/business analytical/design experience. You will be responsible for documenting new requirements, configuring, and tuning the application to the user’s needs, training users, testing workflows, and resolving issues.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Working closely with PM and Trader to manage day to day operations.
  • Implement new workflows and configuration by providing product expertise and guidance.
  • Work closely with vendors team for issues and enhancements.
  • Manage upgrade, ensure all workflows are tested for any changes.
  • Train and educate users, advise best practices regarding applications.
  • Evaluate users’ requirements to identify potential enhancements to Charles River solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement and improvement of support processes and methods.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, balance key tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Maintain and manage user issue logs and track progress.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelors or master’s in computer science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related work experience.
  • 8+ years demonstrable experience in supporting portfolio modeling/order management system.
  • 5+ years of advanced working knowledge of CRIMS, investment methodologies and techniques necessary.
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income and equities trading.
  • Experience in working with Traders, PM and the CRIMS implementation team to build and configure new workflows.
  • Strong Team player work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Advanced communication skills with demonstrated experience working closely with senior Leaders.

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $190,000-$210,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
