The Financial Reporting & Analysis Lead will drive firmwide analysis, producing a wide array of reports, financial models and presentations. This position will collaborate with leaders across Lord Abbett’s operating divisions, including Investments, Sales & Marketing and Corporate Services. Resulting insights will drive critical decision making at the highest level of the organization.     

We’ll trust you to:

  • Generate insightful monthly financial reporting packages covering Profit & Loss statements for Lord Abbett’s operating segments
  • Manage the creation of a comprehensive suite of Power BI dashboards which capture the firm’s KPIs
  • Lead the firm’s financial modeling efforts, including long term financial projections, short term earnings forecasts and M&A / pro forma impact analysis  
  • Partner with the accounting team to evolve systems and processes to ensure accurate, detailed financial reporting
  • Support business leaders by providing financial rigor around decisions and proposals appropriate for CEO and CFO sign off
  • Create impactful presentations on the Firm’s financial results, budget and forecasts for senior management
  • Lead and advise on special projects

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a record of academic achievement
  • 4+ years of Finance experience
  • CPA or CFA is a plus
  • Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Extensive modeling experience – Excel expert
  • Experience in PowerBI is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – comfort with creating board level presentation material
  • Ability to take ownership of multiple projects

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $140,000 - $170,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
