Job Overview:

 

We are looking for a Senior Associate or Director, Private Credit to join our newly established Private Credit business to underwrite new investments and monitor/cover existing portfolio company investments.

We’ll trust you to:

 

  • Lead or serve as an experienced deal team member in the underwriting of private credit investment opportunities (with a focus on sponsor backed senior cash flow / unitranche loans) including diligence, modeling, credit memo preparation, legal documentation/negotiation, and investment committee presentation
  • Coordinate analysis with our loan only/private credit research analysts to provide industry and market comp context for each transaction
  • Be able to effectively manage and execute all parts of the underwriting process from initial review to final approval and performance monitoring, while covering multiple transactions and portfolio companies at the same time
  • As our private credit platform continues to scale, prepare fundraising collateral, contribute to investment sourcing, and training/mentorship of other investment team members.

You'll need to have:

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including credit underwriting or other related experience with a strong credit discipline
  • Excellent modeling, analytical and research skills
  • Exemplary history of loan performance
  • Strong team building skills, desire and ability to train and mentor Associates 
  • Excellent quantitative, communication, and investment management skills
  • BA/BS degree required
  • MBA degree, CFA designation viewed positively, but not required

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $180,000 - $250,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
