The Client Service Specialist (“CSS”) is a cross functional role responsible for the service of approximately 30-40 institutional accounts. In this role, the CSS is responsible for developing an understanding of the unique servicing needs of their clients and acting as a client advocate internally within the firm, as well as externally with specific clients. As part of a dedicated Relationship Team (which may consist of an Institutional Director and Relationship Manager), the CSS works closely with the team to provide a client experience that exceeds expectations. The CSS also serves as a back up to the Relationship Manager as the team sees fit.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Work closely with the Relationship Manager as the day-to-day client service contact for an assigned group of clients
  • Enhance client relationships through best-in-class service, through account management and support, to build stronger relationships with institutional clients
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to seamlessly facilitate client onboardings/terminations and account changes to ensure timely communication and a successful transition
  • Assist Institutional Directors & Relationship Managers when responding to inquiries from clients and consultants
  • Collaborate with Client Reporting team to ensure that client reports are reviewed & communicated in a timely manner
  • Help coordinate (internal and external) client meetings and attend, as needed/appropriate
  • Perform & support client service functions including but not limited to:
    • Oversee capital contributions & withdrawals
    • Facilitate account changes: Name, Trading Instructions, Custodian, Reporting, Guideline and IMA changes
  • Disseminate appropriate firm/disclosure documents (i.e. ADVs, Financial statements, etc.)
  • Maintain client records
  • Partner with technology to enhance the account onboarding process through the Client Lifecycle Management tool

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Approximately 2-7 years of industry experience
  • Ability to work well with different individuals and contacts at all levels of the business
  • An attention to detail with strong organizational, follow up skills and a high sense of urgency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of our clients and their needs
  • Strong service orientation, work ethic, and judgement
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Flexible/adaptable to change

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
