  • What's the role?

    We are seeking a highly motivated, creative-minded digital designer that can think strategically, execute swiftly, and collaborate effectively to help express Lord Abbett’s brand, products and content across the digital spectrum. The ideal candidate is a creative, highly organized team player that understands how business strategy, UX, content, design and technology come together to influence brand perceptions and sell products.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create/design innovative and intuitive digital experiences (online, mobile, social, e-mail)
    • Collaborate actively with Marketing, Technology and Content teams to deliver compelling, relevant digital experiences to diverse client audiences
    • Assist with ongoing design evolution of public websites
    • Research peer and market digital design trends
    • Develop design specifications for tech/dev teams
    • Apply brand and design standards across digital design ecosystem
    • Convey research, design concepts clearly to business owners, stakeholders
    • Work directly with channel marketers, Editorial, Product Management resources to produce new, improved digital experiences
    • Effectively manage resources, plan milestones and ensure on-time deliverables
    • Regularly review of established metrics/analytics
    • Identify, manage key vendor relationships to extract maximum value, realize cost efficiencies
    • Lead agile prototype, POC initiatives to determine project/design feasibility
    • Research/identify new, improved capabilities to enhance digital experiences, increase engagement
    • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to highlight potential market opportunities, peer weaknesses

    Qualifications:

    • 6+ years relevant experience in digital design roles
    • BA/BS degree required; additional digital design certifications/credentials a plus
    • Fin/Serv and/or asset management design experience a plus
    • Creative/PR/Media agency experience a plus
    • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar engagement management software
    • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
    • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
    • Excellent project planning/management skills
    • Experience using Jira, Confluence
    • Experience working in agile software development environments
    • Experience developing, delivering presentations

    Familiarity with:

    • Website design
    • UI/UX concepts
    • Wireframing
    • Agile development methodologies
    • Rapid prototyping
    • Responsive design concepts
    • Style guide adherence

    Proficient in:

    • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign)
    • HTML, CSS
    • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

    Working Knowledge of:

    • JavaScript technologies (specifically react.js)
    • E-mail deployment systems (specifically SFMC)
    • Axure RP
    • Adobe Animate
