  • Overview

    The RFP Associate will support the Business Development team by leveraging firm-wide resources to respond to formal requests for proposal for clients/prospective investors and respond to ad-hoc questions.

    What you’ll do:

    • Write and update content for RFPs
    • Develop compelling marketing content for institutional and retail RFPs
    • Interface with finance, investments, business development, and legal/compliance for input/review and approval prior to external distribution
    • Develop a deep understanding of Lord Abbett investment products
    • Partner with the Investment, Institutional Relationship Management, and Institutional Sales and Consultant Relationship teams, to provide consistent product messaging for Institutional clients and prospective clients
    • Participate in idea generation of product content to be included in marketing materials and review accuracy of product content throughout materials

    You’ll need to have:

    • 3+ years minimum experience working within the investment industry, preferably in a RFP writing role
    • Strong written/verbal communication and quantitative skills
    • Strong project management skills
    • Ability to work well under tight deadlines
    • Interest in financial markets and drivers of asset allocation within portfolios
    • Bachelor's degree
