We're seeking a DevOps engineer to work alongside infrastructure, security, and application development teams to improve our software delivery process and promote agile development methodologies. This is a great opportunity to learn about the asset management industry and influence the technologies and processes used within the firm.
Our current technology stack includes java, python, GitHub, Jenkins, and OpenShift, but we strive to keep our technologies current.
Build out, maintain, and improve the CI/CD pipeline technology stack and processes
Create application templates that promote consistency and productivity
Provide training and configuration assistance to application development teams
Create and configure metrics and monitoring regarding the health of projects
3+ years of experience in a “DevOps” role
Mastery of CI/CD pipeline technologies (Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, or similar)
Experience automating tasks via scripting (Python, shell scripts, ...)
Linux command-line fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and implement new technologies
Experience mentoring/training other developers
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, advanced degree preferred
Preferred to have:
Container orchestration (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Java fundamentals (object-oriented design, collections, JDBC)
System integration experience (REST, web services, messaging)
