    This position in our Pricing & Corporate Actions team is responsible for executing and monitoring the daily operations of the department including: pricing various asset types, analyzing price variance reports and processing routine mandatory share actions and monitoring, responding to and processing voluntary share actions.

    Responsibilities

    • Price all security types  
    • Develop an understanding of the various investment instruments and market conventions across the globe
    • Review price variances, unchanged price reports, initiate price challenges and communicate unexplained exceptions
    • Working knowledge of the Lord Abbett Pricing and Valuation Policies and Procedures
    • Enters dividend and complex share actions into the accounting application
    • Tracks, monitors and responds to custodian banks for all voluntary share actions
    • Communicate dividend and corporate action information to both internal and external clients
    • Participate in special projects as necessary.

     

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years working in Investment Operations or similar environment.
    • Bachelor's Degree

     

    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Team player with solid client service skills
    • Ability to identify and communicate issues quickly
    • Ability to learn and apply past experiences
    • Knowledge of the different security asset types
    • Knowledge of Bloomberg, accounting systems (SimCorp, DST. MCH)
