Lord Abbett is looking to hire a Senior Recruiter to manage full life-cycle recruitment across departments. You’ll be responsible for finding the best talent across a diverse slate of professionals, including Sales/Client Services, Technology, and Investments. You’ll foster relationships with hiring leaders, ensure a smooth recruiting process and establish an outstanding candidate experience.


  • Manage all phases of the experienced hire recruiting process including sourcing, screening, selecting candidates, interviewing, presenting offers, negotiating, and finalizing hires/onboarding
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients, colleagues and other team members to create partnerships that yield a pipeline of key talent
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience; manage communication with candidates including timely feedback
  • Help with ongoing recruitment metrics and reports
  • Create and enhance job descriptions
  • Deliver a key focus on diversity in recruiting processes/strategies
  • Stay on top of market and employment trends affecting the asset management industry
  • Adherence to HR compliance standards
  • Be an internal and external ambassador for Lord Abbett


  • 7+ years (preferrably 10+ years) experience in internal and/or external recruiting; ideally specializing in asset management within sales (retail/institutional), investments, and/or technology
  • Prior experience sourcing candidates is highly advantageous
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all constituents – candidates, team members and hiring managers
  • Innovative, creative thinker with ability to devise bespoke recruiting strategies
  • Knowledge of employment laws as they affect Recruiting/Talent Acquisition
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
