Job Overview:

 

Reporting to the Senior Regional Manager (“SRM”), the Regional Manager (“RM”) is responsible for proactively engaging Financial Advisors within a defined geographic territory in an effort to enrich existing relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and originate new producers. This individual is also responsible for understanding and assessing market conditions in an effort to provide the highest level of investment expertise to our clients.

Responsibilities

 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Generating all sales in his/her assigned territory by serving as a proactive relationship manager for assigned accounts
  • Partnering with financial advisors to promote the sale and marketing of Lord, Abbett & Co. mutual funds and products to their clients
  • Articulating a deep knowledge of mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and retirement products
  • Delivering seminars/presentations on a regular basis to Financial Advisors and the general public
  • Coordinating marketing and sales support services for assigned accounts to enhance existing relationships and develop new ones
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of all Lord Abbett Market & Product Opportunity Presentations (MPOs)
  • Understanding current market conditions and the potential impact on our investment products

 

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years prior wholesaling experience in financial services. Mutual fund sales experience a plus.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses
  • Knowledge of securities markets and current market conditions
  • Bachelors Degree
