Job Overview:


Marketing Associates play an important consultative role for both the Marketing & Sales teams, bridging the two organizations through collaboration, adding value via data mining, and by helping to support, coordinate, execute key strategic/tactical initiatives.


Primary Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Regional Managers and Advisor Consultants to grow and expand their businesses by mining strategic client and sales data applications to better focus/target sales efforts
  • Proposing, implementing e-mail strategies to support approved Marketing strategies
  • Determine target audiences, relevant content for e-mail campaigns
  • Develop, deploy e-mail campaigns via SalesForce/ExactTarget enterprise platform
  • Working w/Digital Marketing team to execute Social Media initiatives
  • Help Regional Managers/Advisor Consultants optimize their LinkedIn profiles, share approved content, and create discipline around this emerging channel
  • Tracking, processing leads and reporting campaign results to both Sales and Marketing teams
  • Analyze campaign results and present findings, identify leads, and recommend next steps including optimization tactics


Secondary responsibilities will include:

  • Running Morningstar Portal and Hypothetical Requests
  • Consulting on CRM best practices, lead tracking
  • Understanding, communicating key marketing initiatives and product updates
  • Actively participating in weekly Sales and Marketing team meetings to ensure that both departments’ objectives are properly coordinated


  • 1-3 yrs. work experience, fin serv/asset management experience preferred
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses, or willingness to acquire
